I’d like to dedicate this to woorissica.com, who (unintentionally) provided the reference picture. They (as well as jessture, among others) take the most outstanding and professional photos, and their fancams are precious too. If it weren’t for dedicated sites like those this fandom would be half as interesting.

Sica - the Process (sort of)
aka. how not to do a portrait. Swear to God, in the beginning I thought I was painting Hyomin. It’s actually kind of hilarious how bad it looks at first. Since I’m too impatient to put in good line art, I feel my way through during the painting process, which is kind of like acrylic painting. But you shouldn’t do it my way, unless you wanna waste time. Moral of the story: don’t be lazy. Do good line art.
(The little strokes are supposed to be swatches, but I didn’t even use them this time so I scrapped it later. lol)
